A plug for Hornsby Shire tree department

Someone we know lives on the edge of a Shire-managed park. He noticed a tree on the edge of the park had died, with branches threatening to fall on his property. He phoned the shire, they noted his concern and he heard no more. Just as he was thinking of phoning to ask what was happening, he looked out the back of the property and noticed the tree had been cut back to just a short stump! Hornsby shire, quiet achievers!
